Over the last few years, we reconnected with an old high school friend, Jay White, and his wife Carmen. We finally made plans for a visit. They arrived on Oct 17 for a week-long visit. We had a great time. We toured the area in our boat Apolonia and toured the marshes in an airboat — looking for alligators. Later, we took a 3-day tour of the Flordia Keys and then toured the local area some more on Apolonia. On the last boat trip, we lost the starboard transmission and had a really scary time trying to dock the boat in high winds and a narrow waterway between piers. All ended safely so we smiled over a drink. The following pictures give a better view of some of our activities, including some great seafood at home. I’m back to working on Paget, updating the varnish and paint as necessary. Hopefully, I’ll finish before the end of the year.
